Description
The Sealey SPP03 is a 12V amorphous solar panel and charging cable kit designed to maintain battery charge in vehicles, boats, and caravans during periods of storage or infrequent use. Amorphous solar panel technology converts available daylight – not just direct sunlight – directly into 12V electricity, making it effective even in overcast UK conditions. With an output of 12V/4.8W, it is well suited to trickle charging and maintaining charge in a wide range of 12V batteries and power packs rather than rapid charging from flat. The kit is rated IP44 and is intended for use behind a car windscreen or other protective glazing rather than full outdoor exposure. It is supplied with optional screw fixings, battery clips, and a vehicle accessory socket plug – though the accessory plug is only suitable for vehicles fitted with a permanent live accessory socket.
