This product also converts Japanese and Chinese plugs to BS1363. Following the hugely successful Euro converter plug, this new product offers a simple, safe and fast method of product conversion, without the need to strip cable or remove existing plugs. The product converts both the non-polarized and polarised 2-pin plug. This can only be located the correct way round and, once firmly held in the guide strip, the lid is closed, making the connection and securing the plug. A simple screw retainer is then tightened. Please note: After fully assembling, a ‘pull test’ safety check is recommended (Not all Japanese plugs are suitable). Extremely useful in alternative markets the converter plug can be fitted in a moment, on a production line, or at its final destination.
